Become an American Red Cross certified safe sitter by participating in this one-day workshop.  The workshop will cover basic care routines such as diapering, feeding, and holding infants and toddlers as well as responsibilities and qualities of being a good babysitter, what to expect from the parent who hires you, making responsible decisions in a variety of situations and keeping children and yourself safe in the house and outside.  Course participants will receive a babysitter's handbook, informational CD and certificate registering them as an American Red Cross Babysitter.  Coordinated by NDSU Extension Service, Ramsey County.

AGE: Must be at least 12 years of age by October 1, 2010.
LOCATION: Basement Meeting Room of the
Ramsey County Courthouse in Devils Lake.
DATE: June 18 or July 16
