Assistant Concessions Manager
The Concession Assistant manager is responsible for the helping run the operation of concession stands in the Devils Lake Park District.
This position will be seasonal, From October-March & June-July.
Qualifications
- The ability to meet and work with the public.
- Experience in food preparation such as restaurant or cafeteria work.
- Experience in ordering and maintaining appropriate food inventory.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the training, and supervision of concession workers.
- To follow established health standards for food preparation and cleaning.
- Responsible for the cleaning of the concession stand area & keeping equipment in good working order.
- Keep accurate records and do quarterly inventory of all supplies
- To follow established procedures for ordering, using purchase orders and appropriate vendors.
- Follow all ADA requirements.
- Concessions must be open for all events required by the Park District and may be open at other times with permission.
- HOURS ARE NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS
- Using a Point Of Sale System.
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Control
Works under the supervision of the Concessions Stand Manager, general supervision of the Superintendent of Parks & Recreation and Park Board Commissioners performing duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
An annual evaluation and job review, will be performed by the Concession Stand Manager.
Pay $15-$17/Hour Depending on Experience.
